Akai Teruko was born in 1570 in the Bizen province, a region known for its rich cultural heritage and tumultuous history during the Sengoku period.

Born into the Shugo lineage, she was raised with an understanding of both martial prowess and the sophisticated arts, particularly Noh theatre.

Raised by a family of samurai, Teruko was instilled with the values of loyalty, courage, and duty from a very young age.
